Living in a small town in Northern Ontario is becoming a bit like living in a seniors' enclave. I think the average age in our area must be creeping up year by year as we age, the birthrate drops and young people leave for greener pastures. When we first moved to King Street, there were more families with young children (us included) than retirees. Now I can count only five or six "young" families from Swale to Lansdowne. It's the same pretty much all over town.
